Portsmouth striker John Marquis has been named the GMS Fans’ League One Player of the Month for November after receiving an impressive 33% of the public vote.
The seasoned League One marksman was at his lethal best last month, scoring four times and adding an assist in four league games for Pompey.
Things have not always been easy for Marquis at Fratton Park but he’s in hot form at the moment and has been rewarded with the GMS Fans’ League One Player of the Month award for November.
The 28-year-old striker was one of six nominees but claimed 33% of the public vote.
Fleetwood Town midfielder Callum Camps received the second-largest share with 22%, closely followed by Accrington Stanley goalkeeper Toby Savin with 20%.
The other players shortlisted were Hull City defender Jacob Greaves (who received 14% of the vote), Northampton Town striker Harry Smith (8%), and Plymouth Argyle forward Luke Jephcott (3%).
