Carlisle United midfielder Callum Guy has been named FLW Fans’ League Two Player of the Season after winning 38% of the public vote.
Few players in the EFL were more important to their respective sides than Guy was to the Cumbrians in 2020/21.
The 24-year-old was a dominant force in central midfield as he helped Carlisle finish 10th.
Not only did Guy pull the strings in the final third and provide the most assists in League Two, 14, but he also proved a key defensive asset and made the second-most tackles in the division, 113.
His efforts have been rewarded as the midfielder has been named the FLW Fans’ League Two Player of the Season after winning 38% of the public vote.
Bolton defender Ricardo Santos finished second with 36% of the vote, followed by Cheltenham Town centre-back William Boyle with 20%.
Morecambe forward Carlos Mendes Gomes (3%), Cambridge United striker Paul Mullin (2%), and Salford City goalkeeper Václav Hladky (1%) were also nominated.
