Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has won the GMS Fans’ Championship Player of the Month award for November after taking 34% of the public vote.
The Bees shot-stopper was superb last month – keeping three clean sheets, conceding just three times, and making 10 saves in his side’s five Championship games.
Raya’s performances helped Brentford go unbeaten in November and stay within reach of the top sides.
He was linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer and Thomas Frank will no doubt be thrilled that the club held on to him.
The Spaniard was rewarded for his performances with a place on the shortlist for the GMS Fans’ Championship Player of the Month award for November and emerged the clear winner with 34% of the vote.
Bournemouth winger David Brooks came second with 21% of the vote with Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong in third with 7%.
The other three nominees were Stoke City striker Tyrese Campbell (who received 10% of the public vote), Bristol City defender Zak Vyner (9%), and Huddersfield Town midfielder Carel Eiting (7%).
