Bolton Wanderers defender Ricardo Santos has been named the GMS Fans’ League Two Player of the Month for November after receiving 39% of the public vote.
After their shaky start to life in League Two, Santos helped the Trotters turn things around last month – going unbeaten in the league and taking 13 points from five games.
The central defender produced dominant display after dominant display, making eight tackles and winning 20 aerial duels as Bolton conceded just twice in November.
Santos’ recent quality has been recognised by EFL supporters as he was named the GMS Fans’ League Two Player of the Month after claiming 39% of the public vote.
Carlisle United midfielder Jon Mellish came a close second with 33% of the vote, while Colchester United forward Jevani Brown received the third-highest share with 10%.
The other nominees for the award were Leyton Orient striker Danny Johnson (who received 9% of the vote), Exeter City forward Ryan Bowman (5%), and Tranmere Rovers goalkeeper Scott Davies (4%).
