Anthony O’Connor wins GIVEMESPORT League Two Fans’ Player of the Month award

Bradford City defender Anthony O’Connor has been named the GMS Fans’ League Two Player of the Month for September and October after winning a resounding 41.9% of the public vote.

The centre-back has made a hugely impressive start to the 2020/21 campaign, dominating opposing forwards in the air and on the ground as well as contributing at the other end of the pitch with his marauding runs forward.

O’Connor is at the peak of his powers at the moment and that has been recognised by supporters as he has been named the GMS Fans’ League Two Player of the Month for September and October after claiming 41.9% of the public vote.

The 28-year-old was named on a six-player shortlist with Harrogate Town’s Jack Muldoon receiving the second largest proportion of the vote with 24.7%, followed by Salford City’s Václav Hladký on 9.7%, Salford’s James Wilson on 8.2%, Newport County’s Scott Twine on 7.8%, and Cambridge United’s Paul Mullin on 7.6%.
